Yes there are many benefits to having Christmas Everyday
Some which may not be readily thought of.
So I will share my perceptions...
Christmas is supposed to be about the Spirit of Giving,
I believe it is also about receiving (Let’s Be Honest).
Yet we struggle to give and receive on a regular basis
without having Special Occasions to justify the purpose
The Gift we all want is to be Loved and Accepted,
to be appreciated. The Gift we all want to give and receive
is free of expense. Long lines and traffic jams aren’t part
of the paradigm either. We can all do this everyday if we
allow ourselves to own what we really want.
Christmas is the one holiday that crosses the boundaries
of religion, ethnicity, and nations. In a manner of speaking
it is a global holiday. Many times in my life I have read
or heard news reports of cease-fires being agreed upon
and honored on Christmas Day. If Christmas were everyday that would mean we could all lay down our weapons
and never have to pick them up again.
Perhaps if we all explore our own thoughts and feelings,
allow ourselves to love and nurture ourselves
simply and unconditionally,
we can live in the Spirit of Giving everyday…
Christmas Everyday.

The very thought of Christmas everyday can stimulate
a cornucopia of feelings and reactions, as I have discussed the concept with family, friends, neighbors and
a grocery clerk or two…
Most of us have experienced the angst, frustration and sometimes near panic when we see the signs reminding us how many days or shopping days till Christmas. All the
hustle and bustle to find the right gift, the long lines
and traffic. Do I need to mention the expense
of gift giving and holiday feasting?
The family gatherings with relatives who you have old
unresolved issues with, “but you have to go because it’s Christmas and you are expected to be there!” or maybe
you even play host this year.
As one Grocery Clerk put it “Who Needs IT?”
Yes… Who needs all the stress?
Well I have a simple solution…
Lets Make Christmas Everyday!!!
