PART I:

My friend I must leave you now

For I know not what I feel

As there are walls I have built, so sturdy and strong

And my greatest concern is, how do I heal?

You say we are each other's heart and soul

Yet I do not even know my own

So how may I give you all that I am

If, within myself I cannot be alone?

I need to remember who I am

Find my heart and learn my soul

I ask not for your sadness, but your smiles

For to greater know myself is my only goal

Yes, Ieave you now for another, yet it is myself

As my heart cries for quiet contemplation within

To see the purpose of my soul

For here sacred intentions are written

Mercy be revealed

As my heart breaks in his absence

Allow me to be reminded of my heart's desires

That I may once again experience his presence

So, I will stand alone

Strong, proud and kind

Until his breath caresses my soul

And he reminds me why...

PART II:

A friend I have known

For eternity it seems

Has left me alone

Awakening me from my dreams

I recall in my thoughts

From not long ago

When I could feel her breath

Deep within my soul

Some say that time

Makes the heart grow fonder

Yet in these few words

I shall forever ponder

For I do believe love

Can withstand all power

Except for the lonliness within

Gazing endlessly, hour upon hour

I discover an emptiness from within

Though it existed from the start

And she knows better that I

How to keep love apart

So I will stand alone

Strong, proud and kind

Until her breath caresses my soul

And she reminds me why...

My friend I have grown so

And I now know who I AM

As you return in the grace of our Light

I AM proud to walk with you once again

Within my heart's breath I AM guided

As each moment I flow with creation

Knowing the wisdom and love from within

I embrace your mirrored demonstration

So much light I see within you

For your smiling eyes give away your heart

My brother, we have completed a cycle

We now stand

At new beginnings, opening hearts, a brand new start

Let us break down the walls

Our beliefs have held captive for so long

Knowing within our newfound balance

That the power of two stand strong

It is an honor to share this experience with you

On the journey of two soul's remembrance

May we know that our love knows no bounds

Letting go of the pains on our conscience

In the blending of our hearts

We shall share not another good-bye

As I embrace your breath, your smile, your eyes

And you remind me why...
